Jennifer is a shareholder of Hopkins & Carley, and a member of Hopkins & Carley’s Intellectual Property Practice and Employment and Labor Law Department. As a trial lawyer, Jen represents clients in complex litigation cases, including patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation. Jen has been involved in cases with diverse technologies, such as: automotive air intake and air filtration systems; conical crushers; digital picture frames; DRAM; financial business methods; flash memory; laser microscopes and solid immersion lenses; operating system and application software, firmware, and hardware; phenolic resins; time-stamped geospatial digital controls; wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n standards and systems; real-time web transactions from web applications and wireless modems; Solaris OS, patches, and accompanying firmware; and RF technology. Jen also has significant experience with federal and state court e-discovery issues, has received a LPM LaunchPad™ Certificate in Fundamentals of Legal Project Management and an Advanced Certificate of Achievement for the Legal Project Management Advanced Course, and is a member of Steering Committee for The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention & Production (WG1) and a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Trade Secrets (WG12).  Jen was also an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, teaching eDiscovery.
