Judge Iannazzone has served as a judge on the State Court of Gwinnett County since January 2002 and on the Magistrate Court of Gwinnett County from 1988 until 2002. Judge Iannazzone is the Business Court Judge for Gwinnett County. He founded the Gwinnett County DUI Treatment Court. In addition to the above assignments, he presides over general civil cases, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, and misdemeanor criminal cases. Judge Iannazzone’s current activities include: Georgia Council of State Court Judges (Treasurer); American College of Business Court Judges (Vice President); and ABA Business Law Section, Business and Corporate Litigation Committee, E-Discovery Subcommittee (Vice Chair). He has also served in other positions, including: Judicial Council of Georgia; Georgia Council of Magistrate Court Judges (past President); Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution (former Chair); Georgia Courts Automation Commission; Magistrate Court Training Council; Chief Justice’s Blue Ribbon Commission on the Judiciary; Supreme Court Committee on Technology; and various committees of the Judicial Council, including the Committees on Pro Se Litigation, Domestic Violence, and Drug Courts. Judge Iannazzone is a 1979 graduate of Emory University School of Law and a 1975 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
