Matthew is a Partner at Akin Gump in Philadelphia. He litigates patent cases about pharmaceuticals, chemistry and biology, with a particular focus on biologics and antibody technology. Matt holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry, and in his work as a scientist, he focused on the mechanism and three-dimensional molecular structures of proteins using x-ray crystallography. He is an Adjunct Professor at Penn Law, teaching patent litigation.
