Justice Robert M. Brutinel
Justice Brutinel was appointed to the Arizona Supreme Court in November 2010. In 1996, he served as a Yavapai County Superior Court Judge, and as the Presiding Judge from February 2004 until his move to the Supreme Court. Justice Brutinel graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and received his law degree from the University of Arizona. Justice Brutinel was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1982, and practiced primarily in the areas of business and real estate. Justice Brutinel has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Supreme Court’s Civil Justice Reform Committee, the Commission on Judicial Conduct, the Arizona Judicial Council and the Committee on Juvenile Courts.
