Seán is an Assistant Commissioner and a Senior Regulatory Lawyer in the Inquiries and Investigations Unit of the Data Protection Commission. He acts as a legal advisor to the Commissioner in relation to large scale cross-border and domestic inquiries. He regularly engages in speaking events on behalf of the DPC. Seán is a practicing Barrister-at-Law and is a graduate of University College Dublin (BCL) and UCL (LLM International Commercial Law). He has previously lectured in Company Law at UCD and has acted as a legal representative at the Free Representation Unit in London.
