Hon. Jane Manning
Judge Jane P. Manning assumed her post on the bench of the State Court of Cobb County on January 3, 2017, having won election in May of 2016. She earned her undergraduate and law degree from Emory University. Judge Manning has been recognized for her work on and off the bench and was most recently awarded the Judge A. Harris Adams Judge of the Year Award in 2022 by the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association. Judge Manning regularly presents topics for Continuing Legal Education for lawyers and judges. Her topics include: Jury Selection, Professionalism, Ethics, Law updates, Character Evidence, Damages, Contempt and Ethical Considerations. She and her husband, John, an Air Force Veteran, have five grown children.
