Eric has held senior leadership roles in several U.S.-based trade associations, including The Sedona Conference, EDRM, the Legal Technology Professionals Institute, and the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists. He is a frequent speaker on a broad range of topics in this area and has worked on numerous leading publications in the industry, including The Sedona Principles, Third Edition, the EDRM Model Code of Conduct, the Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM), and the BBNA Corporate Portfolio Records Retention for Enterprise Information Governance. Eric is licensed to practice law in California and Minnesota, where he currently resides, and he holds the CEDS certification from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists and the CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
