Nick serves as Vice President of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) within Dell’s Security and Resiliency Office, and is responsible for leading the development, implementation and assessment of Dell’s security policies and standards, and for the implementation of a risk management framework and platform to assess and manage security risk across Dell’s businesses, vendors and business partners. Before joining Dell, Nick served as Deputy Global Chief Information Security Officer for the Sony, where he was responsible for helping to build Sony’s first global information security and privacy organization, with primary responsibilities for global security governance and risk management, as well as serving as the Executive Information Security Officer for Sony’s global IT organization. Prior to joining Sony, he ran a UK-based security consultancy practice working with numerous clients including global blue-chip organizations to implement security governance frameworks, identify and manage business risk, and helping them achieve various security certifications and accreditations to industry standards such as ISO27001 and PCI DSS. Nick originally comes from an IT operations and management background with as over 30 years’ experience in IT and Information Security practices.
