David J. White
David is a Director at AlixPartners, LLP where his practice specializes on issues related to data privacy and security, and regulatory compliance for information processing, storage and transfers. He is a former AmlLaw50 Commercial Litigator and has more than 20 years of experience assisting companies in complex litigation and regulatory investigations, including data breach response, compliance audits, and global civil and criminal investigations. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and a registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO. David holds both US (J.D) and UK (LL.M.) law degrees and has counseled numerous multinational Fortune 100 Companies in a wide array of sectors. He is also adept in computer forensics, a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), and serves as an Infrastructure Liaison Officer (ILO) in the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation’s InfraGard program. David has been a long-time member of The Sedona Conference Working Groups 1, 6, and 11, and has presented at various meetings and served on drafting committees over the years.
