Galit is the Global Head of IP at Novartis Pharma, having responsibility for the intellectual property for Novartis Pharma’s innovative products across all franchises. Prior to joining Novartis, she was a Senior Vice President at Teva in a dual role of Global GC for Specialty and Regional GC for Teva Europe, supporting both the specialty and generic businesses. During her career Galit served as a lecturer at the distinguished Bar-Ilan University, having her own course on Legal Aspects of Biotechnology. In 2010 Galit obtained her PhD from Anglia Ruskin University. During her career She has won several prestigious awards, including IP Lawyer of the year from the International Law Office IP and two Individual awards from The Legal 500 UK. Galit is renowned for her expertise in all aspects of intellectual property in the life sciences field.
