Rajesh De
Rajesh De is a partner at Mayer Brown LLP and head of the firm’s global Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice. Raj returned to the firm in June 2015 after serving in senior roles in the White House and at the Department of Justice. Most recently, he served for three years as the General Counsel of the National Security Agency, where he worked with officials across the federal government on the cutting-edge legal and policy issues posed by the nation’s most significant cybersecurity incidents, including issues ranging from the Snowden disclosures to the Sony data breach. During his career, Raj also served as Counsel to the “9/11 Commission” and to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Raj clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and graduated magna cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard College.
